The new Exhibition Centre, the METROPOLITAN EXPO, is the biggest in Athens, covering an area of 110,000 sqm. It is located in the northwest development area of the International Airport of Athens "El. Venizelos".

The METROPOLITAN EXPO consists of four (4) exhibition buildings, all of which are located on the ground floor and occupy in total 50,000 sqm. There are also two conference rooms sitting 600 and 400 people respectively, plus a number of auxiliary facilities which ensure the smooth operation of the centre. The outdoor parking spaces are for approximately 4.000 vehicles.

Since it is located in the wider area of the International Airport of Athens, special specifications have been taken into account with respect to the operational design of the Metropolitan Expo Center.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The airport's Mini Bus can take you FREE OF CHARGE from the Main Terminal to the METROPOLITAN EXPO. You can board the Mini Bus from outside the ARRIVALS, opposite Exit 2.

The International Airport of Athens, "El. Velizelos" is serviced by:

  • the METRO (Subway)
  • the URBAN RAIL ('Proastiakos': www.proastiakos.gr)
  • EXPRESS Bus Lines:

  • 12th GRAPHICA Exhibition

    The upcoming 12th GRAPHICA will take place in the METROPOLITAN EXPO Exhibition Centre during the period of 6-7-8-9 May 2011. This exhibition aspires to bring together a large number of Graphic Arts professionals in the space of a venue which meets European standards and matches the quality and excellence of the sector.
