Exhibition's Regulation

  1. The Exhibitor will bear the cost and responsibility of all stand preparation works (stand set-up, organization and dismantling).
  2. The set-up/display of exhibits or advertising material outside the exhibitor's own stand is prohibited.
  3. The hanging of any object or item from the ceiling and the structural elements of the exhibition halls or the cabling etc. - that runs parallel to the ceiling -, is strictly forbidden. In addition, the use of any means/materials that may destroy or alter the floorings, walls, ceiling, windows, etc., as well as the drilling, hammering, hanging or the use of walls, ceilings, doors, columns, floorings or any other structural materials and in general any intervention to the shape, endurance and aesthetics of the occupied area or the Exhibition Centre in general, is strictly forbidden.
  4. Any works including the use of tools, machinery and materials that may cause any harm or damage to the exhibition centre, such as the use of a paint compressor, wood or movable ('cast-plaster') walls or other material cutting, are strictly forbidden.
  5. The use of the WC or other spaces for the rinsing of brushes or other items is forbidden. For the above works, the spaces designed for this purpose should be used. The Organiser will bear the cost and responsibility for the clean-up of the occupied exhibition area and the exhibition centre's surrounding area.
  6. Exhibitor's banner and sign raising is allowed only in spaces provided for this purpose, in the area of the exhibition centre, by the organising company.
  7. The organising company is responsible for the safekeeping of the exhibition only during its operation hours. More specifically, the organising company should not be held responsible for any damage or theft of objects, exhibits or decoration materials during the hours and days of the exhibition's set-up and dismantling. The exhibitor is obliged to insure its exhibits during the exhibition against any damage or loss that may be caused by adverse weather conditions, acts of God or theft or other reasons not mentioned in the present regulation.
  8. Stand constructions should not exceed 3 meters in height from the ground; In particular, the exceeding part of the back of any construction neighbouring other stands (of 2.5 meters height) should be necessarily painted with a neutral colour.
  9. Any construction in the reception area as well as any kind of commercial exploitation of the reception area is forbidden.
  10. The exhibitor must comply with all safety and hygiene regulations, and in particular to conform to all fire safety measures of the building.
  11. The exhibitor must keep clear all aisles leading to emergency exits, as well as to fire stations and fire extinguisher equipment.
  12. Obstructing the electricity switchboard, the water supply and sewage system, as well as the telecommunication boards is forbidden.
  13. In the case of opposing stands, it is forbidden to place any obstacle or decorative object in the exhibition aisle. In such a case, stands must not have a hypsometric difference in relation to all neighbouring stands. Should the exhibitor wish to bind two opposite stands with a roof, the roof must be very discrete and must not exceed 3 meters in height.
  14. Should the exhibitor wish to have music at his/her stand, he/she should solely undertake the responsibility of obtaining in due time a written permission from AEPI (Hellenic Company for the Protection of Intellectual Property).
  15. The occupied space is delivered to the exhibitor by the organising company on the agreed date, given than the exhibitor has settled his/her financial obligations. The exhibition centre will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 23:00 p.m. It is prohibited for anybody (exhibitor, visitor, construction company, etc.) to enter and/or stay in the premises of the exhibition centre, as well as to undertake any kind of works, outside the aforementioned hours.
  16. Upon the closure of the exhibition, the exhibitor is obliged to remove all objects and materials from his/her stand. All exhibits' removal works must be done with the necessary precaution, so as to avoid causing any damages to the exhibition centre. In the case of any damage, the exhibitor is responsible for its restoration.
  17. For the storage of any materials and product packages, the exhibition centre provides specific storage facilities for the exhibitors. Exhibitors should refer to the Customer Service Department of EXPO WORK.
  18. After the end of the exhibition, the exhibitor is obliged to timely free-up and return the exhibition space in its original condition made available to him/her; otherwise, he/she will pay for each day of delay, twice the amount of the space rental cost.
  19. In the case of delayed delivery of the exhibition stand, the exhibition centre has the right to remove all kinds of objects, using its own means, without being held responsible for any loss or damage.
  20. Throughout the duration of the exhibition, including its set-up and dismantling, the exhibitor is obliged to save and keep the occupied space, fully complying with the present regulation. In the case of any problems or damages, the exhibitor is obliged to compensate the organising company. The exact amount of the compensation will be determined following assessment by the technical service of the exhibition centre.
  21. All clauses of the present regulation are considered mandatory. In case of any dispute that may arise in relation to the present regulation, both parties must try to reach an amicable settlement agreement. If this is not possible, any disputes will be arbitrated by the Athens courts. The organising company is not to be held responsible for any loss, theft, damage or problem that may be caused throughout the duration of the exhibition (including set-up, preparation and dismantling). This applies to exhibitors', visitors' and any other party's product, either within the exhibition or conference halls, or within the surrounding area of the exhibition centre.

    The upcoming 12th GRAPHICA will take place in the METROPOLITAN EXPO Exhibition Centre during the period of 6-7-8-9 May 2011. This exhibition aspires to bring together a large number of Graphic Arts professionals in the space of a venue which meets European standards and matches the quality and excellence of the sector.
